Moto X4 "Android One" Render Leaked

Moto X4

This is big news, since it means that the Moto X4 will be the first Android One smartphone to make its way to the US.

With this in mind, Lenovo needs to differentiate the Moto X4 from the Android One version in a significant enough way that people engage and buy it once it comes out.

It's not clear which other markets will be getting the Android One version of the Moto X4.

To recall its specifications, the Moto X4 sports a 5.2 Inch full HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.

Sporting a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU, the Moto X4 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Dubbed as Xiaomi M1 A1, Google and Xiaomi is releasing the next-generation Android One phone in India where it all started. The two cameras on back include a 12MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.0, and an 8MP ultra wide angle snapper with an f/2.2 aperture. The Xiaomi Mi A1 was the first device in this new edition of the program, launching at thrice the price of the first Android One device! Given Google's recent announcement at the Indian Mi A1 launch event, an "expensive" Android One device is not out of the picture. You can use a microSD card for up to 2TB expansion.

An Android One device from Motorola is interesting as the company already ships their device with a near stock Android experience. For selfies, it comes with a 16 Megapixel wide-angle front camera with LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery which as claimed by Motorola delivers a power backup for one single day. The smartphone was launched in India at Rs 14,999 and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Lenovo didn't feel the need to keep Moto X4 under wraps anymore and chose to unveil it during the IFA 2017 tech event.

As leaked image shared by tipster Evan Blass on Twitter shows, the model has "Android One" branding at the rear. The device will be available in Super Black and Sterling Blue colour options.
